    How this calculator works

Your equivalent open-age time is your finish time multiplied by an age factor interpolated from a representative WMA-style curve. Age grade is the open-class standard divided by that equivalent time. Standards are set near current world-best times.

    Assumptions

    • • Representative age-factor curve and open standards
    • • Standard road-race distances

    Limitations

    • • Approximation — not the official WMA factor tables
    • • Triathlon-specific age-grading is not yet supported

    Who this is for

    • • Runners comparing performances across ages
    • • Masters athletes tracking relative performance over time

    Who this is not for

    • • Official record or championship qualification (use WMA tables)
    • • Triathlon overall times (running distances only for now)
